Job summary

The Morgan Library & Museum invites applicants for the position of Digital Communications Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, this role supports the Morgan’s digital presence across social media and the museum blog by creating and publishing engaging, audience-focused content, while contributing to publicity and communications efforts.

Qualifications

• BA degree with strong interest in the arts and humanities preferred.
• 2–3 years’ experience; museum or gallery background desirable.
• Experience managing content across social channels with analytics.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading with attention to detail.
• Photography, videography and editing for digital platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategy; create, schedule, publish content across platforms.
• Monitor social media performance and use analytics to improve engagement.
• Coordinate outreach to influencers and collaborations with partners.
• Develop and edit original blog content by curatorial staff and guests.
• Support publicity through press releases, invitations and press kits.
• Assist with projects including College Ambassador Program, photography, filming, and events.
