Job summary

Colby College Museum of Art in Waterville, Maine seeks a Communications Coordinator to support the museum’s communications strategy. You will coordinate content production, manage platforms, and ensure timely delivery across channels, reporting to the Communications Manager and collaborating across campus to promote exhibitions and programs.

The role focuses on digital content, website management, media relations, and analytics, contributing to consistent, accurate, and engaging communications

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of professional experience supporting communications, marketing, PR, or digital content management.
  • Demonstrated experience writing and editing content for multiple communications channels.
  • Experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the Museum website content and ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate website updates for exhibitions and programs.
  • Collaborate on CMS projects and enhancements with internal/external partners.
  • Submit events and programs to calendars and listings.
  • Develop and publish social media content and monitor engagement.
  • Track metrics and prepare monthly summary reports.
