Job summary

Ameren in downtown St. Louis offers a co-op opportunity for students in computer science, engineering or MIS. You will participate in meaningful work within the Digital department, focusing on analysis, design and collaboration with experienced staff.

Co-ops run January–August 2027 and May–December 2027, with a hybrid work arrangement at Ameren Headquarters. A 2.5 GPA minimum is required, and you will gain hands-on experience across programming, REST APIs, databases and agile methods.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computer-related field (CS/CE/MIS/Engineering).
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 required.
• Candidate should show process-improvement mindset and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in analysis, design, collaboration and other co-op activities.
• Gather requirements from leaders and stakeholders to support initiatives.
