Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in customer service in a retail branch or digital banking environment.
• 1+ year of consumer loan experience, loan administrative support, credit underwriting, or credit administration experience.
• Knowledge of the consumer lending process.
• Extensive knowledge of industry products, policies and procedures, operations, and compliance regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of financial industry loan and deposit products.
• Ability to optimize an inside sales strategy and translate customer needs into sales deliverables.
• Strong analytical, marketing/sales, consulting and negotiating skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite of products including outlook, word, and excel.
• Advocate for technology; willing and able to leverage digital tools to track, measure, and achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a best-in-class digital customer experience by applying the bank's sales methodology and understanding customers' financial needs.
• Drive growth by generating consumer loans, mortgages, deposits, and other products through digital channels.
• Establish and maintain a customer-centric relationship management process balancing technology with human touch.
• Ensure consumer loans meet credit requirements and collaborate with credit to analyze prospects for profitable decisions.
• Oversee online consumer loan origination from opportunity to closing, including online applications and data capture.
• Investigate, track, and resolve customer problems and inquiries.
• Grow and manage an active portfolio of consumer loan relationships via warm leads and digital channels.
• Partner with branches to enable a seamless online application process and proper loan documentation.
• Advocate for the bank and customers through community involvement.
• Maintain knowledge of all bank products, processes, and systems.
