Job summary

Unity Bank seeks a Universal Banker to deliver outstanding customer service, open accounts, handle daily transactions, and cross-sell bank products and services.

You will engage customers to assess their financial needs, recommend suitable solutions, and guide them through banking channels. The role requires hands-on cash handling, accurate documentation, and adherence to policy. Travel for community events may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of retail experience.
• College degree preferred, not required.
• Prior cash handling or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
• Familiarity with CRM and financial apps is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close sales; cross-sell products/services.
• Engage customers to understand financial needs and recommend solutions.
• Demonstrate digital channel knowledge to cross-sell and expand relationships.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, wires and payments accurately.
• Open new accounts with complete and accurate documentation.
• Maintain compliance with BSA/KYC policies and procedures.
• Participate in branch activities such as Huddles and Sales meetings.
• Travel for meetings, community involvement and covering local branches.
