Equiliem seeks a Digital Asset Management Coordinator in Los Angeles to manage intake, organization, validation, and tracking of digital media assets within a DAM system. The role focuses on accurate ingestion, labeling, metadata management, QC, and high-volume data entry to support distribution readiness.

The position requires knowledge of media formats, codecs, and transfer tools (Aspera/Signiant), with experience in metadata standards and asset migration.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of experience in digital asset management or related media environment.
• Working knowledge of video, audio, and digital file formats including codecs and frame rates.
• Familiarity with file transfer applications such as Aspera and Signiant Media Shuttle.
• Strong attention to detail for high-volume data entry.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Proficiency with Mac and PC environments and Microsoft Office.

Mansioni

• Ingest digital media assets according to procedures and naming conventions.
• Maintain accurate metadata including security policies, codecs, frame rates, and rights restrictions.
• Perform quality control checks for distribution standards and specifications.
• Receive and process asset deliveries using Aspera and Signiant Media Shuttle.
• Verify asset deliveries are complete, correctly labeled, and ready for ingestion.
• Support migration and validation of legacy assets and physical media (LTO tapes, DVDs).
• Monitor ingest queues, troubleshoot transfers, and escalate technical issues.
• Track ingest requests, priorities, and status using workflow tools.
• Assist users with uploads, downloads, and metadata corrections.
• Maintain documentation for ingest procedures and metadata standards.
• Identify recurring errors and suggest process improvements.
• Support user onboarding, vendor guidance, workflow testing, and system upgrades.
