Slate in Michigan is seeking a Digital Asset Management Specialist to own and evolve our brand’s asset ecosystem, including photography, video, and digital design files. You’ll steward the DAM platform, ensuring assets are organized, tagged, discoverable, and distributed across teams, agencies, and partners.

You will drive system evolution via PIM integration, AI tagging, and automated workflows, while maintaining version history and access controls for secure, scalable content management.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of experience in digital asset management, media operations, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience administering a DAM platform (Brandfolder, Bynder, Widen, or Adobe AEM).
• Strong understanding of metadata structures, taxonomy design at scale.
• Familiarity with photo/video production formats and digital design assets.

Aufgaben

• Administer and maintain the DAM platform, including folder architecture, taxonomy, metadata schemas, and user permissions.
• Own asset ingestion workflows from shoots and design teams.
• Maintain version history and check-in/check-out discipline for traceability.
• Audit the library with duplicate detection and resolve redundant uploads.
• Manage licensing, usage rights, releases, and renewals as needed.
• Develop and enforce naming conventions and tagging standards.
• Lead DAM-PIM integration to sync product data and imagery.
• Evaluate facial/people tagging for searchability and rights enforcement.
• Configure multi-language asset metadata and bulk translations.
• Configure workflows and approval chains; train teams on best practices.
• Generate reporting on usage, health, tagging, and adoption.
• Collaborate with IT/legal on data governance and retention.
