Job summary

Ransom Everglades School in Miami seeks a full-time Digital Arts Teacher to join our Visual Arts faculty for Grades 6-12. The role focuses on digital arts instruction and Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency, with potential to teach additional visual arts courses based on expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (BFA), Arts (BA), or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience teaching Middle and Upper School students in independent schools preferred.
Proven ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Responsibilities

Teach five visual arts courses per academic year, primarily digital arts.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, Fresco, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
Create and assess quizzes, tests, projects, and exams to evaluate progress.
Provide individualized feedback and office hours support.
Collaborate with Visual Arts faculty and participate in meetings and school initiatives.
Serve as an academic advisor and engage in school activities.
