Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (BFA), Arts (BA), or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience teaching Middle and Upper School students at independent schools is preferred.
• Proficiency with technology integration in education is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach five visual arts courses per academic year, with a primary focus on digital arts.
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons for grades 6-12, adapting instruction to meet various learning styles.
• Create and assess assignments such as quizzes, tests, projects, and exams to evaluate student progress.
• Provide constructive, individualized feedback and offer additional support to students during office hours.
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment conducive to student engagement and respect for learning.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (BFA), Arts (BA), or related field

Experience teaching Middle and Upper School students
