Job summary

Asbury Theological Seminary seeks a Digital Archival Associate to lead routine digitization projects and administer the private institutional repository. You will coordinate annual records submissions, ensure metadata integrity, and protect confidential materials under the Archivist’s direction.

The role requires meticulous handling of diverse formats and strong collaboration with the LITS team to support scholarly mission and archival stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in archival studies, library or information science, history, digital humanities, or related field preferred.
• At least two years of archival, digitization, repository, library, records-management, imaging, or audiovisual-conversion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage routine digitization projects from intake to ingest and documentation.
• Serve as primary day-to-day administrator of the Seminary’s private institutional repository.
• Coordinate annual records collection from Seminary offices and ensure metadata accuracy and preservation.
