Job summary

Celanese is seeking a Digital Application and Adoption Specialist to bridge business users and digital solution delivery. This hybrid role ensures employees can discover, adopt, and maximize the value of Microsoft 365 tools, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and PowerBI across the organization.

You will partner with business teams, develop training materials and learning resources, deliver sessions, measure adoption and business value, and support governance, knowledge management, and citizen

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience managing and developing tools within the Microsoft 365 platform (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, PowerBI).
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating user needs into actionable solutions.
• Experience supporting business applications, digital transformation, change management or knowledge management initiatives.

Job description

The Digital Application and Adoption Specialist serves as the bridge between business users and digital solution delivery. This role is responsible for ensuring employees can effectively discover, adopt, and maximize the value of digital tools, platforms, and information resources.

This hybrid position would require in-person work at one of these locations - Florence, KY; Auburn Hills, MI; Wilmington, DE; or Irving, TX

Responsibilities:

Digital Enablement and User Management

• Partner with business teams to identify opportunities for digital solutions and process improvements
• Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for new digital initiatives and enhancements
• Maintain and manage a portfolio of digital improvement opportunities and enhancement requests
• Conduct voice of customer assessments to understand user needs, challenges, and adoption barriers
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical solutions teams

Change Management and Adoption

• Develop and execute user adoption strategies for digital tools and platforms
• Create training materials, user guides, documentation, and learning resources
• Deliver training sessions, workshops, and onboarding support
• Measure and report adoption, engagement, and business value metrics
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to increase solution utilization

Community Development and Citizen Development

• Build and sustain communities of practice around digital tools and capabilities
• Promote self-service and citizen development capabilities
• Provide coaching, governance, and best practices for citizen developers
• Foster knowledge sharing and collaboration across business functions and regions
• Support governance processes for digital solutions, content management, and user support models
• Monitor metrics and user feedback to guide future enhancements

Qualifications:

Required:

• Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, PowerBI)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience developing training materials and facilitating user adoption
• Experience working with collaboration and content management platforms
• Experience in gathering business requirements and translating user needs into actionable solutions
• Experience supporting business applications, digital transformation, change management or knowledge management initiatives

Preferred:

• Materials science understanding especially around polymer properties
• Experience managing knowledge repositories, document libraries, and collaboration environments
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, backlog management, and product ownership concepts
• Experience measuring and reporting adoption metrics

Required Years and Education:

• Bachelor or Master in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in managing and developing tools within the Microsoft 365 platform (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, PowerBI)
