This position develops and supports Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, and collaboration solutions that improve productivity, automation, and digital ways of working. The role partners with IT and business stakeholders to deliver secure, practical solutions while supporting users, resolving issues, and maintaining clear documentation.
This position is on-site Monday-Friday.
Essential Functions
- Build, maintain, and support Power Apps, Power Automate flows, SharePoint solutions, and related Microsoft 365 components.
- Design secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that meet approved business requirements and align with company standards.
- Translate business needs into clear technical designs, acceptance criteria, and working solutions.
- Develop automation that reduces manual effort, improves consistency, and streamlines business processes.
- Provide specialist support for Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Copilot, Teams, and collaboration tools.
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, complete root cause analysis, and improve the reliability of developed solutions.
- Apply Microsoft 365, Power Platform, data governance, security, and compliance standards to all developed solutions.
- Create and maintain solution documentation, support guides, release notes, and handover materials.
- Support users with guidance, quick reference materials, and adoption support for new tools, automations, and digital processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams, project teams, Modern Workplace team members, and business stakeholders to deliver agreed development outcomes.
Role Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience developing and supporting Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, or Power Platform solutions in a business environment.
- Degree, higher education qualification, recognized technical apprenticeship, or equivalent professional experience in IT, software development, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, collaboration services, permissions, lists, libraries, metadata, and solution configuration.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting Power Apps and Power Automate solutions, including connectors, expressions, approvals, error handling, and reusable components.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot capabilities, practical use cases, responsible adoption, data security considerations, and productivity improvements.
- Working knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint data structures, JSON, REST APIs, and integration with Microsoft 365 or other approved business systems.
- Experience moving solutions through development, test, and production environments using version control, testing, release documentation, and formal change control.
- Understanding of access control, data loss prevention, data protection, cybersecurity architecture principles, ISO27001 concepts, and secure development practices.
- Relevant Microsoft certification preferred or ability to obtain one within an agreed period, such as PL-200, PL-400, or an equivalent current Power Platform or Microsoft 365 certification.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly, work effectively with IT and business users, and deliver practical solutions aligned to agreed business needs.
