Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Platform Engineer I in Digital Measurement to support the analytics that power our digital experiences. You will administer Google Tag Manager and GA4 implementations across websites and apps, partnering with engineers, product managers, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions and RudderStack tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Digital Marketing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, digital measurement; RudderStack experience not required.
• Basic familiarity with SQL.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and improve Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 implementations across websites and mobile applications.
• Translate business, product, and measurement requirements into tags, triggers, variables, events, and analytics configurations.
• Ownership of platform administration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting, including resolving tracking issues.
• Test and validate technical analytics implementations to support accurate data collection.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and analysts on RudderStack event tracking and shared measurement standards.
• Document platform configurations and support processes.
• Develop toward independent ownership of our technical analytics implementation.
