Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Platform Engineer I to join our Digital Platform team and power the analytics that drive our digital experiences for Milwaukee Tool customers.

You will administer GTM and GA4 implementations, translate business requirements into tags and events, and support production analytics. Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and analysts to improve measurement quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Basic familiarity with SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve GTM/GA4 implementations across websites and apps.
• Translate requirements into tags, triggers, variables, events, and analytics configurations.
• Own platform administration, maintenance, monitoring, and production support.
• Test analytics implementations for accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and analysts on RudderStack and measurement standards.
• Document configurations, decisions, and support processes.
• Develop toward independent ownership of our technical analytics implementation.
