Job summary

SkyWater Technology in Texas is hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician specializing in Diffusion. The role requires 3–5 years in semiconductor equipment maintenance, hands-on electro-mechanical troubleshooting, and ability to work 12-hour shifts (A shift: Sun–Tue and every other Wed, 6:55 am–7:10 pm).

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, document activities, and support tool reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical/associate degree or equivalent military/work experience.
• 3–5 years in equipment maintenance within semiconductors.
• Able to troubleshoot electro-mechanical/fluidic circuits and perform PMs.
• Demonstrate root cause analysis and 8D problem solving.
• Follow detailed instructions with high accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per plans and manuals.
• Use test/diagnostic gear to identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Document activities to meet quality standards.
• Rebuild equipment/sub-assemblies and modify as directed by engineers.
• Engage in maintenance/CIP/5S+ cross-functional teams.
• Own small projects and coordinate with outside vendors.
• Handle chemicals and manage critical spares inventory.
