Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Palm Bay, FL seeks an experienced Diffusion Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our wafer fabrication facility. The role requires extensive hands-on maintenance of diffusion equipment and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced, ITAR-controlled environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in semiconductor maintenance, expertise with diffusion systems, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting Diffusion equipment in a semiconductor environment.
• Experience with Thermco TMX 9000/10000 and SVG VTR 6000/7000 preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with installation, operation, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems and implement solutions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diffusion equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and participate in root cause analysis.
• Maintain safety and ITAR compliance in a cleanroom environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in wafer fabrication operations.
