Job summary

TSMC Washington in Camas, Washington is seeking a diffusion equipment technician to maintain and troubleshoot high‑precision semiconductor equipment in a clean room. You will work on Kokusai V3/V3F2/V3J/V5S/V5SS furnaces, Disco grinders, Takatori tapers, and Rudolph ellipsometers, with a focus on preventative maintenance and rapid issue resolution.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, the ability to read schematics, and excellent teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Capable of working a 12-hour compressed shift on-site in Camas.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on KE V3/V5 furnace, Disco grinders, Takatori taper/detaper, and Rudolph ellipsometer.
• Identify, record, and escalate problems related to equipment, processes, or product.
• Part rebuild including valves, cable builds, and PCB component replacement.
