Job summary

SkyWater Technology seeks an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician in Austin, TX to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical/ mechanical systems, and install semiconductor fabrication equipment. The role supports diffusion-related processes and requires extensive clean-room experience.

You will join a team focused on safety, quality, 5S, and continuous improvement, while adapting to a C shift schedule and contributing to a world-class manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade certificate preferred; experience also considered.
• 10 years in Semiconductor equipment maintenance.
• Able to work in a Class 1 clean room.
• Strong safety, quality, delivery and 5S focus.
• Capable of following preventative maintenance and Standard Work.

Responsibilities

• Be part of equipment services team in the semiconductor industry.
• Support safety, 5S and Standard Work culture.
• Identify opportunities to improve area and factory performance.
• Collaborate with team to solve problems and meet manufacturing objectives.
• Make routine decisions based on area priorities affecting production.
• Work with shift leadership to drive team success.
• Document maintenance performed.
