Description:Locals are not allowed.There is a 60-mile radius restriction with no exceptions.First-time travelers are accepted.The focus is generally on inpatient care.The majority of patients will be adults; however, there may be geriatric or pediatric patients as well.Consults will be for all age ranges, typically adult.The patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.The daily census is approximately 55 patients.The facility has 114 beds available.Staffing and scheduling adhere to a strict requirement for minimal requests for time off during the assignment.Any requests for time off must be approved before the start of the assignment.Expect to work some holidays.Professionals may be required to float to other departments as necessary.Floating will not involve caring for patients outside of the established scope or competency of the home department.
