Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an Inpatient Dietitian for a 13-week assignment in Alaska. You will plan, coordinate, and participate in nutritional care for inpatients, work with food service, nursing and medical staff, and follow physician orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience.
• Registered Dietitian license required.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• RD credential via CDR.
• AK Dietitian license preferred (willing to wait).

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates nutritional care for inpatient population.

Description:The Inpatient Registered Dietitian plans, coordinates, and participates in the nutritional care process of the inpatient population.This position assures that quality nutritional care is provided.The Registered Dietitian will coordinate with food service staff, nursing and medical staff to ensure a clear understanding of patient needs.Diet-related physician orders will be followed.This position will cover for the outpatient dietitian as needed.Participation in quality improvement programs concerning clinical services is required.The Registered Dietitian will also participate in the review of standards and scoring guidelines with the Food Services Manager.Quality nutritional care is the primary focus of this role.
