Job Details: Western State Hospital, an acute care adult psychiatric facility in Hopkinsville, KY, is seeking a Dietitian to join our team. This role focuses on providing nutritional care for individuals with mental health conditions. The position involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to support patient well-being. Job Summary: We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian (FT) to join our Nutrition Team at an acute care medical center in Hopkinsville, KY.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide medical nutrition therapy, including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for patients.
2. Follow all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
3. Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accreditation agencies, while maintaining confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights.
4. Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
5. Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
2. State licensure where required.
3. One year of hospital experience preferred.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
