Western State Hospital, an acute care adult psychiatric facility in Hopkinsville, KY, is seeking a Dietitian to join our team. This role focuses on providing nutritional care for individuals with mental health conditions, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to support patient well-being. Full-time 30-40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday, with a flexible work schedule. Onsite presence is required.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian (FT) to join our Nutrition Team at an acute care medical center in Hopkinsville, KY.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provides medical nutrition therapy including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention.
2. Follows all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
3. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, HIPAA, and patient rights policies.
4. Trains and mentors staff and interns as applicable.
5. Participates in patient satisfaction, departmental meetings, and quality improvement programs.

Qualifications:

1. Registered Dietitian credential from the CDR.
2. State licensure where required.
3. One year of hospital experience preferred.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EMR, diet systems, and nutrient analysis software.
