Job summary

Park Royal Behavioral Health Services is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to promote health and recovery within a behavioral health setting. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with comprehensive benefits and day shifts.

You will assess nutritional needs, provide counseling, and collaborate with medical staff to develop dietary plans for adults with various mental health conditions.

Qualifications

• Assess nutritional needs and develop dietary-care plans.
• Provide nutritional counseling to patients and families.
• Advise on dietary plans and food selections to support health goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and health plans to create dietary-care plans.
• Approve menus and nutritional supplements.
• Counsel patients and families on nutrition and healthy eating habits.
• Provide nutrition assessments as per policy and regulation.
• Review and approve facility menus.
• Consult with physicians on dietary needs.
• Participate in treatment team meetings.
• Review diet manuals with medical staff.
• Promote nutrition education to groups.
• Monitor food service to meet safety and quality standards.
