Job summary

ExcelCare At Egg Harbor is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team of caregivers at our long-term care facility. You will collaborate with residents, nursing staff, and healthcare providers to develop and oversee personalized nutrition plans that support health, wellness, and quality of life for elderly residents.

The ideal candidate has experience in geriatric nutrition, knowledge of enteral feeding, and familiarity with state survey processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with enteral nutrition in a long-term care setting.
• Familiarity with DOH/state/federal nutrition care regulations.
• Knowledge of MDS 3.0 and state survey processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments.
• Participate in care planning meetings as required.
• Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family.
• Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards.
• Perform duties independently without training or direction.
