Job summary

Absolut Care of Aurora Park is seeking a compassionate Dietitian for a part-time role in New York. The Dietitian will develop personalized nutrition plans based on resident assessments and collaborate with care teams to educate residents and families about nutrition and wellness.

The ideal candidate holds NY RD licensure or is eligible for registration with the CD R and demonstrates strong communication skills, both independently and within a team, in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD).
• Registration or Eligibility for Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• New York State licensure as a Registered Dietitian.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans based on resident assessments and clinical data.
• Conduct nutrition screenings and assessments to identify needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and provide nutrition education to residents and families.
• Provide feeding assistance and support to residents with dysphagia or swallowing disorders.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition plans, adjusting as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality of care.
