Job summary

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a licensed Dietitian to oversee inpatient nutritional services. You will plan and direct patient nutrition care, develop policies, and educate nursing and food services staff to ensure high-quality dietary support for patients.

Requires RD licensure and BLS certification, with strong communication, organization, and analytical skills to manage care for diverse patient populations in a startup hospital environment in Indiana.

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is a brand new startup with 40 private patient suites and set to take its first patient October 2026.

Position Summary

Plans, directs, and coordinates nutritional services and care for inpatients; establishespolicies and procedures forpatient nutritional care; supports Food Services and Nursing Departments with educationregardingpatient nutritionalcare; assistsinestablishingofpolicies and procedures for food safety/sanitation, preparation, distribution.

Pay:Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian with the State Board of Examiners of Dietitians
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American RedCross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements

• Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, including familiarity with methods of teaching, principles of education, andnutritional requirements of individuals of varying ages and degrees of health.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, timemanagementand prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to meet stricttime frames.
