Job summary

Orlando Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a licensed dietitian to plan, direct, and coordinate inpatient nutritional services, establishing policies for patient care and collaborating with Food Services and Nursing.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian with the State Board of Examiners of Dietitians.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross.

Pay

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian with the State Board of Examiners of Dietitians
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements

• Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, including familiarity with methods of teaching, principles of education, and nutritional requirements of individuals of varying ages and degrees of health.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.

• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames.
