Job summary

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital, a brand-new startup opening October 2026, seeks a Licensed Dietitian to plan and oversee inpatient nutritional services. You will help establish clinical policies and coordinate care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Work closely with Food Services and Nursing to educate staff on nutrition, food safety, and sanitation. This role requires leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian with the State Board of Examiners of Dietitians.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates nutritional services for inpatients.
• Establishes policies and procedures for patient nutritional care.
• Supports Food Services and Nursing with education regarding patient nutritional care.
• Assists in establishing policies for food safety, sanitation, preparation, distribution.

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is a brand new startup with 40 private patient suites and set to take its first patient October 2026.

Position Summary

Plans, directs, and coordinates nutritional services and care for inpatients; establishespolicies and procedures forpatient nutritional care; supports Food Services and Nursing Departments with educationregardingpatient nutritionalcare; assistsinestablishingofpolicies and procedures for food safety/sanitation, preparation, distribution.

Pay:Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian with the State Board of Examiners of Dietitians
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American RedCross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements

• Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, including familiarity with methods of teaching, principles of education, andnutritional requirements of individuals of varying ages and degrees of health.
