Job summary

Aster Springs Nashville seeks a Registered Dietitian to deliver nutritional education and clinical dietary services for our eating disorder treatment programs. You will lead groups, assess caloric needs, input dietary policies, and coordinate discharge menus with the clinical team.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in nutrition/dietetics, RD credential, and Tennessee Dietitian certification preferred; 1 year ED and 1+ year healthcare experience are strongly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics or related field.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• 1 year clinical experience with eating disorders preferred.
• 1+ year healthcare setting experience, Tennessee Dietitian preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional education to clients and staff.
• Assist with oversight of nutritional content and accuracy.
• Determine/monitor caloric intake for clients.
• Lead and schedule food challenge outings with clients.
• Coordinate discharge menus/meal plans with staff.
• Develop and lead dietary policy/procedures updates.
• Lead cooking/nutrition groups weekly.
• Discuss/meet with families during family week as needed.
• Support infection control policies and accreditation visits.
