Job summary

Aster Springs Nashville seeks a Licensed Dietitian to provide dietary services within our residential and outpatient eating disorder program. You will lead nutritional education, develop meal plans, and support clients through recovery and growth.

Work closely with the Executive Director and Clinical Director, participate in groups, assess caloric needs, and help discharge planning while ensuring policy compliance and evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• 1 year clinical experience with eating disorders strongly preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in health-care setting; Tennessee Certified Dietitian preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional education to clients/staff.
• Oversight of nutritional content and accuracy of dietary plans.
• Determine/monitor caloric intake for clients.
• Individual sessions with clients 1-2 times/week.
• Lead cooking/nutrition groups weekly and coordinate discharge menus.
• Coordinate discharge planning with outpatient dietitian.
• Assist with policy/procedures related to dietary care.
