Job summary

Legacy Health Services is seeking a Dietary Technician to support nutritional care for residents. You will assist the Registered Dietitian, ensure meals are safe and appealing, and help monitor dietary quality in a healthcare setting.

Ideal candidates have an Associate Degree in Nutrition/Applied Science, RD registration, and at least 1 year of healthcare experience with knowledge of nursing home dietary regulations. This role emphasizes organization, compassion, and clear communication.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Registered Dietitian in providing personalized nutritional care
• Ensure meals and snacks are safe, appetizing, and tailored to each resident’s needs
• Help monitor dietary quality and compliance with healthcare standards
• Collaborate with dietary staff, care teams, and residents to promote satisfaction and wellbeing
• Participate in care conferences, resident council meetings, and new resident onboarding

What You Bring to the Table:

• Associate Degree in Nutrition/Applied Science
• Registered with the Commission for Dietetic Registration
• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Knowledgeable about dietary regulations for nursing homes
• Organized, compassionate, and a great communicator
