Job summary

Tampa General Hospital seeks a Dietary Team Lead to supervise and coordinate the dietary staff across outlets at the main campus. You will coach, train, and develop team members, ensuring accurate meal assembly, timely service, and quality customer care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will participate in staff interviews, contribute to performance evaluations, assist with cash handling and catering events, and perform computer-related tasks while upholding the hospital's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Four years experience in a hospital, commercial restaurant or other food service operation.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English, Spanish desirable.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Ensures positive customer service through timely execution of service, accurate product assembly and cashiering. Assists management with cash control, special functions and catering. Participates in interviews and selecting staff, and provides input on disciplinary actions according to Human Resources guidelines. Assists in completing employee performance evaluations in a timely manner. Performs computer-related activities as required . Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years experience working in a hospital, commercial restaurant or other food service operation.
• Ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions in English, fluent in Spanish desirable, and to accurately follow instructions when using, disposing of and mixing chemicals.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
