Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a dietetic training program or ADA-approved course is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; communicate effectively with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dietary Director in planning and directing the Dietary Department.
• Coordinate dietary services with nursing and other departments; ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop and maintain dietary policies and procedures; oversee MSDS and safety practices.
• Review and revise care plans, diet orders, and quality assurance measures.
• Supervise dietary staff; monitor attendance, performance, and training needs.
• Assist in budget planning, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
