Job summary

Quality-Center-For-Rehabilitation-and-Healin seeks a Dietary Supervisor to assist the Dietary Director in planning, organizing, and directing the department's operations. This role coordinates dietary services with nursing and other departments, develops policies, and oversees quality assurance in meal planning and resident nutrition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of accredited dietetic training or equivalent diet-service supervision course.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical setting.
• Must read/write/speak English; strong communication skills.
• Cost-control, food management, and diet-therapy training preferred.
• Willingness to coach and supervise dietary staff; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing and directing the Dietary Department.
• Coordinate dietary services with other departments and review policies.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance for dietary services and resident care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control and housekeeping standards.
• Assist in budget planning and inventory control for dietary supplies.
• Interview residents for diet history and assist with discharge diet planning.
