Job summary

Woodbury Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Woodbury Heights, NY, is seeking a dedicated experienced Food Service Supervisor. We promote a warm, nurturing environment that respects each resident's dignity and independence.

The supervisor will oversee daily food service operations and ensure high quality meals and service for residents and families. The role is four days per week from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a requirement to work every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (minimum).
• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facility.

THis position is 4 days a week from 3pm to 8pm, you must be willing to work every other weekend.

Education

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care Facility, or other related medical Facility.

Specific Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be knowledgeable of food services practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations and guidelines governing food services functions in nursing care facilities.
• Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
