Job summary

Appone in Riverside, CA is seeking an experienced Dietary Supervisor to lead our Food Services team in a skilled nursing facility. This full-time role involves coordinating meals, ensuring compliance with dietary requirements, and supporting guests with a high-quality care experience.

As supervisor you will conduct in-service training, communicate with nursing and environmental services, and prepare reports for the Dietitian and Administrator.

Qualifications

• 6 months in a dietary position.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Responsibilities

• Development of and participate in in-service training classes for the Food Services Department.
• Coordinate food services and activities with Nursing, Environmental, Activity and Social Services, etc.
• Provide written and oral reports/recommendations to the Dietitian and/or Administrator.
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from nursing services.
• Ensure knowledge of special diets.

We are looking for an experience Dietary Supervisor - Full Time.

As Supervisor of Food Services, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Development of and participate in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of timely in-service training classes that provide instructions on 'how to do the job,' and that ensure a well-educated Food Services Department.
• Coordinating food services and activities with other related departments (i.e., Nursing, Environmental, Activity and Social Services, etc.).
• Written and oral reports/recommendations to the Dietitian and/or Administrator as necessary/required concerning the operation of the Food Services Department
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from nursing services.
• Requires knowledge of special diets.
