Dietary Services Supervisor/Certified Dietary Manager - Principal Responsibilities

CLINICAL

• Ensures the timely preparation and delivery of nutritious and attractive meals, and supplements to all residents according to physician’s orders and in compliance with Federal, State and Company requirements.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary working environment in compliance with Federal and State of California Guidelines.
• Ensures that meals are served according to resident requests, preferences, and needs.
• Implements and revises menus with Registered Dietician review and guidance to meet resident needs.
• Interacts effectively with Interdisciplinary team members.

Dietary Services Supervisor/Certified Dietary Manager - ADMINISTRATIVE

• Maintain all records and documentation according to Federal, State and Company requirements.
• Maintains inventory of food and supplies to meet resident needs, and according to policy and planned menus.
• Participates in assigned meetings and in-services.
• Operates department with sensitivity to forecast needs.
• Ensures exchange of essential information with all departments as necessary to ensure quality resident care.
• Work with Registered Dietician to meet health goals of the residents.

Dietary Services Supervisor/Certified Dietary Manager - SUPERVISORY

• Meetsdepartment work goals through assignment of staff.
• Monitors staff performance and addresses any needs.
• Evaluates quality of services accomplished by staff.

Dietary Services Supervisor/Certified Dietary Manager - QUALIFICATIONS
