Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a dedicated Dietary Services supervisor to oversee meal preparation, menu adherence to physician orders, and daily staff supervision in a long-term care facility.

The role requires coordinating with the dietary team to ensure adequate food, supplies, and equipment; maintaining infection control, budget approvals, and compliance with state and federal regulations; and participating in care plans while treating residents with dignity.

Qualifications

• CDM certification preferred; if not held, must be earned within the first year of employment.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Facility’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Administrator, Director of Nursing or Unit Manager on Duty.
• Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with respect and dignity.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Assure that meals and snacks are prepared according to the menus; that meals taste good and are presentable.
