Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee meal preparation according to approved menus and applicable regulations. The role includes planning menus with a dietician, supervising kitchen staff, and contributing to resident care planning.

Flexibility for additional duties may be required by the Administrator. The position requires CDM certification in good standing, basic computer skills, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• CDM certification in good standing with the State.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Facility’s policies and procedures.
• Report allegations of resident abuse/neglect to the Administrator or Director of Nursing.
• Treat residents, family members, visitors and team members with respect.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Ensure meals are prepared per menus and physician orders.
• Maintain availability of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Supervise dietary staff including cooks and aides.
• Participate in care plan meetings and monitor rights compliance.
• Follow state and federal regulations including infection control and safety.
