TransitionsHealthcare Washington, PA seeks a Dietary Manager to lead the Dietary Service team in a skilled nursing setting. This full-time role oversees meals, diet compliance, staff supervision, and daily operations to deliver high-quality, resident-centered dining.

The ideal candidate will have CDM certification or willingness to obtain it, healthcare food-service experience, ServSafe knowledge, and strong organizational and leadership skills.

Competenze

• CDM credential preferred; willing to obtain if not certified.
• Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing food service required.
• Supervisory or food-service management experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily operation of the Dietary Services department.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and direct dietary staff.
• Ensure meals meet diet orders and resident preferences.
• Coordinate with nursing on resident dietary needs.
• Monitor food quality, portioning, temperatures, and service schedule.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Manage food and supply orders, inventory, and waste.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and prep areas meet sanitation standards.
• Maintain dietary records and temperature logs.
• Assist with meal prep as needed to meet resident needs.
• Promote resident-centered dining experience.
• Partner with leadership to support departmental goals.
