Job summary

Vertical Health Services seeks an experienced Dietary Manager to oversee the dietary department in a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate holds a ServSafe Manager Certificate and CDM certification is preferred, with a track record in long-term care.

You will plan, organize, and direct operations, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, and manage staff while implementing cost controls. A regional support team backs you; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold Serv Safe Manager Certificate.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred.
• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Minimum two+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical facility.
• Training in cost control and food management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department.
• Ensure compliance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Oversee and manage the dietary staff, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
• Implement and maintain cost control measures within the department.
• Coordinate diet therapy and tailor services to residents' individual needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall quality of resident care.
