Job summary

Garden Healthcare seeks a Dietary Director to coordinate resident dietary menus and supervise daily kitchen operations. You will ensure staff follow safety standards, manage inventories, and uphold quality in meal preparation and service.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff training, and compliance with state and federal regulations, with ServSafe Manager Certification and CDM license required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision in dietary services.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation.
• Experience budgeting and controlling labor in a dietary department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident dietary menu planning and oversee daily operations of food preparation.
• Ensure dietary staff follow state and federal procedures for sanitation and safety.
• Monitor portion sizes, food temperatures, and inventory to meet quality standards.
• Oversee deliveries, storage, and stock levels; maintain accurate inventory records.
• Manage labor and budget within the Diet ary department and train staff on procedures.
