Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Food Handler level II or similar certification.
• Certified food service manager or equivalent national certification is required.
• An associate degree in food service management or related hospitality field is acceptable.
• Must meet state standards for food service managers where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of the food service department, including staffing, food ordering, and meal preparation.
• Oversee food safety, kitchen sanitation, and adherence to resident care plans and regulations.
• Supervise food service staff to ensure quality nutritional services daily.

Education
