Job summary

The Waters of Syracuse is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead and direct the Dietary Department. The role involves coordinating services with Nursing, Housekeeping, and Social Services to ensure quality nutritional care and sanitary operations across daily meals and diet plans.

Responsibilities include developing resident dietary assessments, care plans, and policies, scheduling care plans, reviewing plans quarterly, and ensuring compliance with physician orders and regulations.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager required.
• Experience directing a dietary department in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dietary services with Nursing, Housekeeping, Social Services, and related departments.
• Assist in developing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, and care plans.
• Develop preliminary and comprehensive resident dietary assessments and care plans.
• Schedule care plans and ensure plans are used to guide daily dietary services.
• Review and revise care plans quarterly and ensure appropriate equipment and utensils are identified.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders and dietary standards.
