Job summary

Starr Regional Medical Center is seeking a Dietary Services Associate to join its culinary team. The role involves cooking meals for patients, visitors and staff, following recipes, and maintaining a clean workspace in a hospital setting.

Day, evening and night shifts are available, with background checks and screenings required. Candidates should have at least 2 years of commercial kitchen experience, be 18 or older, and communicate effectively in English while working well in a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals for patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Follow recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
