Job summary

Valley Springs Behavioral Health in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Patient Ambassador to join the dietary team. The role supports meal service, menu handling, and patient interaction on day shifts. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with a wage of $19/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
