Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Dietary Manager Salaried HCC to lead the Dietary Department within a patient-focused healthcare setting. You will plan, organize, and direct nutrition services, ensuring safe, nutritious meals in alignment with regulations.

This role requires supervisory experience in a skilled nursing or hospital environment, a high school diploma, and a recognized dietetic certification. You will collaborate with the team to meet patient dietary needs and manage budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing center or hospital.
• Certified in a dietetic program approved by the relevant nutrition associations.
• Customer service oriented with cost control, food management and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patient/family to obtain food preferences and diet history.
• Documents nutrition information in medical records per care plan.
• Prepares for visits from the Registered Dietitian and follows policy.
• Reviews diet orders to ensure adherence to prescribed menus.
• Monitors storage and safety of foods and sanitary conditions.
• Supervises tray line service and conducts tray audits.
• Manages inventory, purchasing of food/supplies, and receipts.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory guidelines and budget.
