Job summary

Paradigm Northwest seeks a dedicated Dietary Manager for a skilled nursing facility in Houston, TX. Lead dietary team, ensure meals meet orders, monitor budgets, and maintain compliance with state/federal guidelines.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with care teams, manage inventory, and uphold sanitation standards while supporting residents with appropriate dietary plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active license as a certified dietary manager or certified food service manager, or eligibility per federal/state law.
• Minimum three years’ supervisory experience in a dietary department in medical facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and regulations governing nursing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory of food, beverages, and supplies.
• Adhere to budget for supplies, food, and labor.
• Develop baseline care plans within 48 hours of admission (dietary considerations).
• Attend plan/Medicare meetings when dietary concerns arise.
• Supervise dietary staff to ensure sanitation and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and facility policies on sanitation and safety.
