Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian (FT Hours) to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Spring Hill, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide medical nutrition therapy including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention.
2. Follow all guidelines outlined within the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
3. Comply with all regulatory standards including federal, state, and accreditation agencies, while maintaining confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights.
4. Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
5. Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
2. Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, if required.
3. One year of hospital experience preferred.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
