Job summary

A Dietary Manager is needed at Apollo Health and Rehabilitation Center to oversee dining services for residents. You will supervise dining room operations, train staff, and coordinate menu planning with nutrition and wellness goals.

Qualifications

• CDM certification required or equivalent credential.
• Supervisory/management experience in food service for long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advises the dining department on resident care and meal service matters.
• Provides supervision and assistance in dining rooms during meal service.
• Develops, schedules, and conducts in-service training and orientation for staff.
• Assists with menu planning considering nutrition, regulatory compliance, variety, and wellness trends.
• Hires, leads, coaches, trains and develops the Food and Nutrition service team.
• Participates in Performance Improvement Program teams and departmental meetings.
• Ensures adherence to community policies and procedures.
• Supports integration of nutrition wellness innovations.
• Maintains kitchen sanitation and food safety procedures.
